Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. She started singing and studying songs with her mother she began her more intensive training in singing at the age of 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. While a young student and professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. In 2000 she moved to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with classical Latin American music at private occasions. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
