Maria Menounos

 Maria Menounos, a Greek-American journalist and actress is worth of over $20 million. Maria Menounos is probably most well-known for her role as a correspondent on Today, Extra, Access Hollywood and a variety of other television programs.Maria Menounos was born in the Boston suburb of Medford, Massachusetts to Greek immigrant parents Costas and Litsa Menounos, on June 8 on the 8th of June, 1978. Her parents had emigrated to the United States prior to her birth and worked as janitors at a Boston nightclub. She was a member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church growing up. She was a graduate of Medford High School. When she was 17 years old, Menounos produced the "Land of Merry Misfits" which was an independent fairy tale. In 1995 Menounos began competing in beauty pageants, and in 2006, she was awarded the title of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA. In the following years, Menounos went to Emerson College where she participated in the now award winning organizationcalled Emerson Independent Video. Emerson was her senior year in 2000. While in school she was a reporter at Channel One News. Menounos' ten-minute segments were full of unforgettable assignments, like going to El Salvador to report the earthquakes there.
